Following her well received debut EP “A Universe On Its Own”, Black Villain gives us “A Universe Reimagined” EP featuring Johannesburg East Producer Rephlex and eSwatini Multi-Award winning electronic music artist !Sooks. The remix EP serves as a reimagination of Black Culture and I Am Black, two of the most loved songs on the original EP.

Rephlex’s reimagination adds an east-side groove to the “I Am Black” original, building up suspense to the song’s heavy bassline drop, with Bongani Mehlomakhulu’s emotive poetry vocals echoing in the background. !Sooks brings a heavy, electronic and cinematic reimagination to “Black Culture”, with throbbing basslines and hypnotising chords and synths, that are guaranteed to move underground club dance floors.
